THE LOGISTICS
CHECK-IN
Friday, April 14, 2023 at 5:30PM CST check-in time. Programming will begin promptly at 6:00PM CST. Rooms will not be reserved, and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The RYPP Retreat will be in a 3,500 square-foot lake house in Lake Geneva, WI with spectacular lake views, breathtaking sunsets and is truly a one-of-a-kind experience! The home has over 3,500 square feet of fun that includes six indoor gathering places, 7 bedrooms (most with sitting areas too), a lakefront deck, a stunning rooftop deck, a private yard, private beach and a large private pier. There's also access to an amazing roof top deck with seating for 16 as well as a pergola to provide some shade.
This place also has some deep Chicago history. The house was built in the 1880's and was used by notorious Chicago gangsters in the 20's and 30's because of its secluded lakefront location and close proximity to Chicago. This house has been referenced in many biographies including those of Baby Face Nelson, John Dillinger and George "Bugs" Moran. This place is straight gangster!
MEALS
All meals will be provided. If you have any allergy or religious restrictions, please let us know.
DINING
There's plenty to do within walking distance of this home, as well, including three restaurants and lounges. French Country Inn with its French inspired Farm to Fork Fining dining experience is about 5 houses away and offers wonderful dinner options and lakeside dining. The Mars Resort and Piano bar is about 10 houses away and is one of the most popular places in town. We will most likely be dining at one of these lovely establishments for a night out on Saturday.
ACTIVITIES
Take a break from your hard work. Enjoy some activities or some just plain fun. Explore the grounds, relax by the indoor fireplace, walk by the lake, or get to know your fellow participants better. You deserve to relax and enjoy life.

MORE ABOUT THE RETREAT
COVID
At this point in time no masks or vaccination cards are required for this event; however the policy will be reviewed prior to the event as accordance to state and national law, and hotel requirements. Spacing will be arranged with some separation between seats to the best abilities of the lake house to accommodate social distancing. RYPP Retreat staff are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19. As policies and laws change, there is a possibility that this event may require all attendees and staff to wear masks inside shared spaces and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You may be asked to provide your vaccination card during the registration process. We will continue to monitor any changes, and communicate them to all attendees in a timely manner. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
