HI! I'M AZIZI.
INTERNATIONAL KEYNOTE SPEAKER + WORKFORCE RESILIENCE BUILDER + CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS MEDIA TRAINER
HI! I'M AZIZI.
I’m a psychotherapist, a SAG/AFTRA actor, an entrepreneur, and a corporate trainer. I’ve stood on Broadway stages and film sets, and in boardrooms and psychiatric hospitals and prisons.
Today, I use everything I’ve learned (mental health, performance, leadership) to train executives, founders, athletes and creatives to lead out loud and protect their presence under pressure.

Because the mic is never just a mic.
It’s a moment to influence, connect, and lead.
You don’t need to become someone else.
You just need to become more you, on purpose.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I improve my own mental health?
First, please understand that every person is unique, from their fingerprints to their DNA, one size does not fit all. Second, mental health is not all or nothing. Small improvements performed consistently over time add up to huge results. Celebrate what you’re doing right. It’s pretty hard to make good decisions when someone is talking down to you all the time (and that someone might be you). Third, working with a licensed psychotherapist is a great way to find support.
Where can I train with you?
I provide training around the world. I also support organizations through workplace mental health trainings, media training, and speaker coaching for executives, athletes, and mission-driven leaders.
If you're interested in bringing me or my team to your organization, let’s talk! I’d love to connect and hear more about what support looks like for you.
What's your favorite beverage?
It's a toss up between an oat milk matcha latte (when I'm feeling "healthy") and coffee. Actually, mostly coffee, like it's my personality. Add a dash of cinnamon and oat milk, and I'm in heaven.
Do you do 1-on-1 coaching?
Yes, I absolutely do! You can contact me to get started.
What do you eat in a day?
Every day is different but usually some variation of this: First up, water, lots and lots of water. Next, a bowl of oatmeal or smoothie packed with loads of fruit, nut butter and protein powder. Next, a cup of organic coffee with almond milk. Then a big plate of plants for lunch (usually a soup, filling salad, or Buddha bowl with tofu or seafood), then I’m flexible at dinner. I mostly reach for fresh, real, plant-based food, but non-dairy pizza and the occasional dark chocolate treat is always a possibility.
How did you become a Creative Arts Therapist?
I love being a creative arts therapist and encourage anyone who wants to learn more about psychology and the arts to become a creative arts therapist, too. Click HERE to learn more about becoming a Creative Arts Therapist.
How do you take care of your own mental health?
I first take care of my body, as the health of your body is directly linked to the health of your mind and emotions. Starting with drinking lots of water throughout the day, getting plenty of quality sleep, daily exercise, and veggies, veggies, veggies. Meditation has taught me to pause from my go-go-go mentality, and truly slow down. I try to rest just as hard as I work. Also, my core group of family and friends are huge fuel boosters for my mental health. Plus, my Mom is the best!
What ARE you?
Yep! This is a random question that I'm asked ALL the time. My mother is Danish and Irish, and my father was Comanche Indian and African-American. I'm a beautiful mix of strength, power, Hygge and art.
